Mahesh Jagannath temple is the 2nd largest Jagannath temple in the world,which was established on 1396 AD. Drubananda Brahmachari, a great Bengali sage of fourteenth century made the Idols of the Holy Trinity;Balarama, Subhadra and Jagannath and established a small Temple. Later he handed over the responsibility of the deities to Sri Kamalakara since then Kamalakar Pippalai began worshipping the deities of Lord Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra maharani here at Mahesh.
Our Total Mahesh Jagannath Temple property area is around 6 acre and there we have additional 1.65 acre ground also.There are Two doors in the Temple.One is at East side and other is at South side,with width 1.2 mtr and height 2.3 mtr.There is also a Gate with height 7 mtr and width 5.5 mtr at North Side. There a Ratna Bedi for Holy Trinity with length 3.2 mtr,width 1.5 mtr and height 2.8 mtr.
Our main temple area is in Length 50.95 mtr,Width 38.5 mtr and Height 26.0 mtr.
In mahesh jagannath temple we have our holy Garbha Griha,which is 5.0 x 5.0 mtr in inside and 9.0 x 9.0 mtr in outside.
Bhog Ghor is situated on the back side of Garbha Griha with length 11.2 mtr,width 9.6 mtr and height 4.5 mtr.
Prasad Ghor is on the back side of Garbha Griha with length 17.7 mtr,width 12.5 mtr and height 4.5 mtr.
There is a small temple at the left side with 13.9 mtr length, 5.8 mtr width and 8.5 mtr height.
Our mahesh jagannath temple has a beautiful garden at right side with length 14.8 mtr and width 8.5 mtr.
Mahesh Snan Yatra is a very famous festival.The festival happens in our Snan Mancha.Snan Mancha is 12 mtr in length,7 mtr in width and 8 mtr in height.
There is a beautiful Dol Mancha in our temple area.Length,width and height of the Doll Mancha is 8 mtr,7 mtr and 8 mtr.
Natmandir is in front of main door of the temple and its length,width and height is 13.5 mtr, 11.9 mtr and 8.0 mtr.

In the early morning at 4:30 am - Mangalaarti.
At 7 am in the morning - Bathing and Worship Activities.
At 10 am - Special Puja and Ballobhog Offerings .
At 12 noon - Annyabhog Nibedan, Bhogarati and Naam Sankirtan.
At 4 pm - Baikali Bhoga and Shastra lessons.
In the evening at 6 pm- Sandhya Aarti and Naam Sankirtan.
In the evening at 6:30 pm- Sital Bhog
The temple is closed at 9 pm.
